This is an 8 year old blended Scotch whisky from Dewar's, the third release in the Dewar's Cask Series. It has been finished in Port casks and is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is floral, with heather, hedgerow berries, honeyed oats and marzipan. On the palate come vanilla, plums, apricots, floral honey and baked cherries, with nutty nougat. The finish brings drying spice, sweet dried berries, roasted nuts and burnt toffee.
