This is a 21 year old Dewar's blended Scotch whisky in a 375ml bottle, finished in Oloroso sherry casks. It was created by the brand's seventh master blender, Stephanie MacLeod.
She drew on the four stage ageing process devised in 1901 by A.J. Cameron, creator of the White Label blend. In it the whiskies are married in cask several times, to bring the components into better balance and a smoother mouthfeel.
The notes are of cinnamon and ripe vine fruits.
