Dewar's Double Double 21 Year Old Mizunara Oak

This is a 21-year-old blended Scotch whisky from Dewar's, part of the Double Double Series. It takes the Double Double 21 Year Old and finishes it in Japanese Mizunara oak casks, bringing Scottish and Japanese oak traditions together. It is made with Dewar's four-stage ageing process. Mizunara does not grow straight and can take up to 200 years to mature, so casks made from it are uncommon. The whisky is described as sweet and clean, with coconut, sandalwood and creamy vanilla, and a balance of succulence, purity and smoothness. The finish is sweet and clean.
