Distillery 291 – Rye Spirit Batch 1 (49.9%)

This is an 11-month-old rye spirit from Distillery 291 in Colorado, released in November 2018 for the Rye Series of That Boutique-y Whisky Company, which renamed itself That Boutique-y Rye Company for the occasion. Only 498 bottles were released. The label takes its inspiration from 1920s film noir. It shows the Halloween film character Michael Myers, a nod to the distillery's founder of the same name. The other figures are the artist Alfred Stieglitz, whose Gallery 291 in New York gave the distillery its name, and the photographer Man Ray.
