Doc Holliday 13 Year is an American straight bourbon bottled at 54% ABV, or 108 proof. It was aged for 13 years in oak barrels, then moved into ex-Armagnac casks for a finishing period. The bourbon pays homage to the gunslinger of the same name and was produced in small batches.
The nose brings dried figs, caramel, toasted oak and raisins soaked in Armagnac. On the palate there is rich vanilla, dark cherries and baking spices, with touches of leather and pipe tobacco. The finish is long and warming, balancing spice, fruit and oak.
