Don PX Bodegas Toro Albala

Don PX from Bodegas Toro Albala is a dessert wine from the Montilla-Moriles region of Andalusia, Spain, made exclusively from Pedro Ximenez grapes. The grapes are sun-dried to concentrate their natural sugars, then pressed and fermented in a very controlled manner. Ageing in oak barrels adds further character. It has an almost black colour and a rich, velvety texture, with aromas ranging from molasses, dried figs and dates to chocolate and coffee. On the palate it is sweet yet fresh, with a long, aromatic finish of toasted caramel and sweet spices.
