Douglas Laing Double Barrel Islay & Highland is a blended malt Scotch whisky from independent bottler Douglas Laing, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It brings together single malts from Islay and the Highlands, pairing the smoky, earthy side of Islay with the sweeter, malt-led character of the Highland spirit.
The nose is sweet and gently smoky, developing into deeply toasted bread and soft honey. On the palate, peat smoke and ashy notes meet rounded malt sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with charred nuts and sweet marzipan.
