Double Barrel Speyside & Lowland is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, combining single malts from Speyside and the Lowlands. The two malts are very different in character, and the blend is made to balance those differences. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fragrant and fresh, with fruit and a sweet, gristy note. The palate is sweet and fruity, with honey and vanilla. The finish is softly spiced, with a lift of orange zest.
