Rock Island Year of the Dragon is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, a limited edition marking the Chinese Year of the Dragon in 2024, the Wood Dragon. Rock Island pays tribute to Scotland's Whisky Islands and their maritime heritage, and it blends single malts from Orkney, Arran, Jura and Islay. For this edition the whisky was finished in heavily charred 'crocodile' casks, chosen to reflect the importance of wood in Scotch whisky and to let the spirit take up richer flavours from the oak.
