Douglas Laing's Old Particular The Dutch Dram Masters #3 Glenrothes 17 Year Old Sherry Butt (61.1%)

This is the third edition of The Dutch Dram Masters, a series from the independent bottler Douglas Laing that honours the legacy of Dutch artists. This release takes its cue from Jan Steen's painting of a boisterous family household, in which a bagpipe player in the back corner gives a nod to Scotland. The whisky is a 17-year-old Old Particular Glenrothes, matured in a sherry butt and bottled at 61.1% exclusively for the Dutch market. The outturn is 644 bottles. It is described as having oak spice, sugared raspberries, a rich mocha character, juicy barley and cherries.
