Douglas Laing The Epicurean Lowland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

The Epicurean is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, made entirely from Lowland malt whiskies and bottled at 46%. It is a tribute to Glasgow and the Lowland tradition, and its vintage-style label honours a fictional character fond of good food and good company. The whisky has natural colour and is not chill-filtered. It is pale gold. The nose is fresh, with lemon, lime, green apple, cut grass and a floral touch. The palate is light and lively, with fresh fruit, malted barley, herbs and gentle spice. The finish is dry and clean, with herbal and citrus notes.
