Timorous Beastie is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing. It takes its name from the timid little field mouse in Robert Burns' poem 'To a Mouse'.
The makers say that, unlike the mouse, this whisky is not for the fainthearted.
It is described as a medley of vanilla, malted barley, meringue, honey and citrus flavours.
