This is a single cask Port Ellen, from the Islay distillery that has since closed. The independent bottler Douglas McGibbon's released it in its Provenance series. The whisky was filled in the winter of 1983 and bottled in the winter of 2006, after 23 years in a refill butt, cask number DMG3229. It was bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or added colour.
