A 13 year old single malt from Mannochmore in Speyside, bottled by Dràm Mòr. It was distilled in 2012 and finished in a first-fill Tawny Port hogshead before bottling in 2025. The whisky is a deep ruby colour, which is natural, and it has no chill filtration.
It was bottled at a cask strength of 53.7% in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 243 bottles.
The nose opens with candied apple and pear, moving to strawberry jam with a hint of mint leaf. On the palate the port wood brings summer fruits. The finish is drier than expected, balancing the sweetness of the fruit.
