This is a Napoléon cognac of 15 years from Drouet et Fils, a family-owned house now run by its fourth generation. It is made entirely from grapes grown in the family's own vineyards in Grande Champagne.
The nose is rich with figs and plums, with full vanilla following. The palate is complex, with body and character, moving between dryness and sweetness.
The finish is very long, with juicy sweetness and piquant spice competing for attention.
