Dufftown – 1993 - Connoisseurs Choice is a single malt whisky from Dufftown (Speyside). Bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. Dufftown distillery, situated in the heart of Speyside, was converted from a meal mill in 1896 and has operated with near-continuous production throughout its history. It is highly regarded as a source of spirit for blending and is among the higher-capacity distilleries in the region. This expression was distilled at Dufftown in July 1993 and bottled in September 2007 by Gordon & MacPhail of Elgin as part of their long-running Connoisseurs Choice series, a range dedicated to showcasing single malts from across Scotland's distilling regions. Matured in refill American hogsheads and bottled at 43% ABV, it represents approximately 14 years of maturation.
