Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Singleton 12 Year Old is a malt whisky from the Dufftown distillery in Speyside, Scotland. It is distilled slowly in the traditional way and reduced to 40% ABV with water from the local spring. The whisky is matured in a combination of American bourbon and European sherry oak casks. The result is described as smooth and balanced, with a richly fruity flavour and aroma. The blue bottle recalls the packaging of the late nineteenth century, and the salmon on the label, a symbol of wisdom and knowledge in Celtic mythology, also points to the purity of the spring water.
