Singleton Dufftown 12 Year Old is a single malt from the Dufftown distillery, which was built in 1895 and began production a year later. It was matured mainly in American oak casks, with a smaller share of European oak casks added to balance the whisky.
The nose brings brown sugar, soft cooked apples and creamy toffee. The palate is spicy at first, then soft and pleasantly sweet. The finish is fruity, with citrus, raisins, vanilla and a hint of honey.
