A 20 year old single grain whisky from Dumbarton, distilled in 2000 and matured in a Bourbon cask. It is bottled by Coopers Choice at 56.5%.
Dumbarton Distillery was built in 1938 where the River Leven meets the Clyde, on the site of the former McMillan shipyard. It was once the largest distillery in Scotland and a major contributor to Ballantine's blended Scotch. It closed in 2002 and has since been demolished.
