Dumbarton – 25 Year Old 2000 Unicorn (56.6%)

This is a 25 year old Lowland single grain whisky from the closed Dumbarton distillery, part of the Unicorn Series. It was distilled in 2000 and matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, then bottled in 2026 at a natural 56.6% ABV, yielding 259 bottles. The series label pays tribute to the Scotch Watch, the Chinese white geese that guarded the distillery's bonded warehouses from 1959 until 2012. The Oloroso cask brings dried fruits, chocolate and warming spice, and the long maturation adds a smooth, creamy character.
