Duncan Taylor Black Bull Kyloe (70cl, 50%)

Black Bull Kyloe is a blended whisky from Duncan Taylor, made with a high ratio of malt to grain. It is bottled at 50% abv without chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The name comes from the Kyloe, a breed of Highland cattle known for coping with Scotland's hectic weather. The nose is sweet and warm, like syrup, with apples, pears and a touch of oak spice. The palate brings soft plump raisins and nuts, with milk chocolate coming through. The finish is fairly long and rich with vanilla.
