Duncan Taylor Octave Miltonduff 14 Year Old (70cl, 55.1%)

This single cask Miltonduff belongs to The Octave range from Duncan Taylor. It was distilled in 2009 and matured for 14 years in oak casks, then spent a further nine months in an octave cask. It was bottled in 2023 at 55.1% ABV, filling 90 bottles. The nose brings fresh orchard fruit, oak char, lemon zest, roasted malt, vanilla and nutmeg. On the palate there is sweet sherry, strawberry jam, demerara sugar, prune juice and toasted nuts. The finish is dried apricot and toasted oak.
