A single barrel of Eagle Rare 10 Year Old bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, chosen by the Secret Bottle Shop team as their third Barrel Select release. Barrel #076 matured in American oak for 10 years and was bottled in 2025 at 45% ABV. It yielded 192 bottles, in a 75cl size.
The nose has toffee, orange peel, honey, herbs, leather and rich oak. On the palate it is bold yet delicate, with candied almonds and deep, velvety cocoa, and a dry structure. The finish is lingering and dry.
