A Kentucky whisky from Early Times, a brand created in 1860. It is double distilled and aged for a minimum of three years in heat-cycled warehouses, in seasoned American white oak barrels. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 1.75 litre bottle.
The name Early Times recalls the old-fashioned way of making whisky, mashing grain in small tubs and distilling in copper stills over open fires. Today's process is more exacting, and the whisky is described as having a mellow, smooth taste.
