Fortitude is a single malt Irish whiskey from Egan's, aged exclusively in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV. It is a bright golden colour.
The nose offers honey, marzipan, nougat and sherry, with accents of vanilla and dried fruits. The palate follows the nose, with a creamy, sherry-forward core of brown baking spices, honey, ginger biscuits and candied citrus. It is full-bodied, and a good level of acidity keeps the higher strength lively.
