Egan's 10 Year Old is an Irish single malt, triple distilled and aged for ten years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. It is bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill filtered.
The Egan family's whiskey history goes back to 1852 in Tullamore, and the brand is now led by descendants of the original founders.
The nose is ripe orchard fruit, honeycomb, toasted oats and light spice. The palate is vanilla fudge, green apple, malt biscuit and clove. The finish is long and softly spiced, with oak, citrus zest and sweet grain.
