Elijah Craig Straight Rye is a straight rye whiskey matured in charred oak barrels, in a 1.75L bottle. It has a deep amber colour, and the peppery spice of the rye grain sits alongside a sweetness from its time in oak.
The nose is warm baking spices, a hint of vanilla and fresh rye. The palate is rich and peppery, balanced by caramel and oak. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering oak and a touch of sweetness.
