A dry Riesling from Rheinhessen, made from hand-harvested grapes and aged in both steel and large casks with extended lees contact. The wine shows mature yellow fruit, apricot and floral notes, with a chalky minerality and a fresh, lively acidity. It finishes dry with good length. Only around 674 bottles were produced.
It suits shellfish, grilled fish, tapas and cheese, and mildly spiced Asian dishes.
