This is a single refill hogshead of Teaninich, filled in 2011 and bottled at 13 years old as the Spring 2024 edition of the Equinox & Solstice series. It was reduced to 48.5%, the strength used across that series.
The cask showed the waxy, highland side of Teaninich more than usual, with a subtle but distinct layer of peat running through it. It is described as a balance of freshness and power, and as a very unusual Teaninich.
