Equipo Navazos La Bota 88 Whisky de Malta (70cl, 46%)

Equipo Navazos La Bota 88 is a Scottish malt whisky bottled in 2018 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is sourced from one distillery in Scotland and is believed to be around 12 years old. The last seven years were spent in a single cask that was previously part of a solera of very old, dry Oloroso sherry. The nose has a touch of peat with poached pear, roasted malt, coffee bean and crème brûlée. The palate is sweet and softly fruited, with florals, butterscotch and plenty of peaty smokiness. The finish brings wild honey and a note of iodine.
