Ezra Brooks 99 Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged in oak barrels, bottled at 49.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The mash bill is a spicy, rye-influenced one, and the bourbon is charcoal filtered for a smooth, mellow finish. The higher bottling strength is intended to bring out more flavour.
It is described as smooth and drinkable, with hints of caramel, vanilla, chocolate and spice.
