The Famous Grouse Finest is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from grain whisky and malts including The Macallan and Highland Park, which are left to marry before bottling. The Famous Grouse was first blended in 1896 by Matthew Gloag.
The nose is clean and gentle, with honeyed cereal, subtle dried fruit and a light touch of sherry oak. The palate is smooth and mellow, with soft malt, a hint of spice and faint toffee. The finish is medium and warming, with a little oak and a whisper of smoke.
