Fattoria del Piccione Riserva Agello Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore Riserva

A Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore Riserva made with biodynamic viticulture. It shows a deep ruby red colour and a bouquet of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with black pepper, tobacco and cocoa notes from ageing in barrique. On the palate it is vigorous and well structured, with acidity balanced by soft tannins and a persistent, pleasantly warm finish. The alcohol is well integrated, adding richness without overpowering the fruit. It suits robust dishes such as braised meats, roasts and aged cheeses, and can be kept for further evolution in the cellar.
