Federico II Extra IPA is an artisan beer from the Flea brewery, made with abundant aromatic and bitter hops. It has an intense amber colour and a persistent, creamy head.
The nose is rich, dominated by citrus, tropical fruit and a light resinous note. On the palate it has a medium body with balanced carbonation, showing grapefruit, mango and a light malty sweetness.
The finish is long and pleasantly bitter. It suits flavourful and spicy dishes, grilled meats and aged cheeses. The case contains 12 bottles of 33 cl.
