Fercullen 10 Year Old is a single grain Irish whiskey from Powerscourt Distillery, set within the Powerscourt Estate in Wicklow. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit is distilled entirely from corn and aged for ten years in ex-bourbon casks, under Master Distiller Noel Sweeney.
The nose is soft vanilla, light honey, toffee apple and a touch of citrus zest. The palate is silky and rounded, with sweet grain, creamy oak, hints of fudge and spiced cereal. The finish is smooth and warming, with lingering sweetness and soft toasted notes.
