It spent 14 years in ex-bourbon barrels and is non-chill filtered. The whiskey is aged in the microclimate of the Powerscourt Estate, shaped by cool mountain air.
The nose is light honey, golden apple, warm cereal grain and soft vanilla with a hint of toasted wood. The palate is creamy, with orchard fruit, citrus peel, nutmeg and caramel. The finish is clean and lasting, with gentle spice, honeyed malt and a dry, oaky close.
