Fercullen 15 Year Old is a single grain Irish whiskey from Powerscourt Distillery, bottled at 41.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colouring.
The whiskey spent 15 years in bourbon casks, and a portion was then finished in second-fill Madeira casks before the parts were brought together for bottling.
On the nose there is vanilla, fudge, honey-roasted almonds, dried apricots and mango. The palate offers buttered popcorn, orange marmalade, lime and dry oak, leading to a long, creamy finish of vanilla, candied orange and lime zest.
