Fettercairn 10 Year Old 2015 Fresh Tawny Port Cask – Claxton's Exploration Series (70cl, 50%)

This is a single cask Highland single malt from Fettercairn, distilled on 15 June 2015 and bottled in 2026 at ten years old. It was selected by the independent bottler Claxton's for its Exploration Series. The whisky matured in a fresh tawny port hogshead. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and in its natural colour. The nose is tropical, with ripe papaya and pineapple alongside a fine citrus note. On the palate come sweet strawberry and concentrated raisins with oak spice, and the finish is long and gently spiced.
