Fettercairn 16 Year Old is the 2022 release of this single malt Scotch, bottled at 46.4% ABV in a 1 litre bottle.
On the palate there are dried exotic fruits, lightly syrupy figs and grapefruit, with notes of ripe oak. The finish brings sun-soaked raisins, guava, pastry spices and cocoa, built up to a crescendo of natural vanilla. It continues with moist ginger cake, passion fruit and baked apple, supported by soft notes of roasted coffee.
