Fettercairn 16 Years Old is the fourth release of this single malt from The Fettercairn Distillery Company, dated 2023. It is bottled at 46.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle and has an intense golden amber colour.
The palate opens with warm tropical fruit layered with berries, rich cocoa, sugared almonds and high floral notes.
In the finish, seasonal blackberries and raspberries mingle with natural vanilla and caramel. Gently balanced plum, freshly baked gingerbread, cherries and spice from aged oak underline the tropical character of the Fettercairn house style.
