This is a 2008 Fettercairn from the Old Malt Cask range, a Highland single malt bottled by Hunter Laing at 50%. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The name Fettercairn is usually taken to mean the foot of the stone monument. The distillery stands on the southern edge of the Cairngorms, in the Eastern Highlands. It was founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay and, after Glenlivet, was the second distillery to receive an official licence to distil.
