This is a 14-year-old Fettercairn single malt from the Highlands, distilled in March 2009 and bottled in January 2024 by Douglas Laing for its Old Particular range. It is bottled at 58.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in a single refill butt and was bottled at natural cask strength, without colouring or chill filtration, with 667 bottles produced. Fettercairn was founded in 1824 at the foot of the Grampian Mountains in Aberdeenshire. The nose is sweet, with macerated autumn fruits and home baking. The palate brings warming fruit, juicy barley, marzipan and spices. The finish develops honey on toast and mild coffee, with a late vanilla toffee sweetness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
