Fettercairn – Warehouse 14 Batch 001 (70cl, 51.2%)

Warehouse 14 Batch 001 is a Highland single malt from Fettercairn, bottled at a cask strength of 51.2% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery has released it as a new series. The whisky is a vatting of ex-bourbon and refill bourbon casks, together with 12% ex-beer casks from the Highlands. The nose offers vanilla, tropical fruit, honey and flowers. On the palate it is warm, with roasted malt, tropical fruit, crème caramel, apricot, cacao and wood. The finish is full and complex, with a touch of nuts.
