Fettercairn – Warehouse 2 Batch 3 (70cl, 50.6%)

Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch 3 is a Highland single malt from a series named after the warehouse where the whisky matured. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2022 at 50.6% abv, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in a range of cask types, each adding to the flavour, and the relatively high bottling strength is said to suit its character. The nose brings fruit, honey, coffee and various sweet notes. On the palate come assorted spices, hints of biscuit, fruit and a touch of bitterness. The finish is long, balanced between spice and sweetness.
