Fettercairn – Warehouse 2 Batch 4 (70cl, 48.8%)

This is Batch 4 of the Warehouse 2 series from Fettercairn, a single malt bottled at 48.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2022. Fettercairn was founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay, owner of the estate on which the distillery stands. It was first called Nethermill, after the converted mill building where work began. The nose offers oak, vanilla, apple, banana and cut grass. The palate brings ginger, cinnamon and peanuts.
