This is an Islay single malt from Finlaggan, created for Fèis Ìle 2024 and bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. It was matured in Tempranillo red wine barriques and is bottled at 50% ABV, without added colour and without chill-filtration. Only 420 bottles were released for Germany.
The nose is garden bonfires and caramelised fruit. The palate brings sweet peat, sea salt, toasted spices and smoked blackberries, and the finish is long and sweet, with a note of oily smoke.
