Forst Sixtus (pack of 24) (33cl, 6.5%)

A dark double malt beer from the historic Forst brewery in Italy, sold in a 24-bottle case of 33cl bottles. It has an alcohol content of about 6.5% and a persistent, creamy hazelnut-coloured head. The aroma brings toasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate and a light roasted note. On the palate it is full-bodied, with balanced sweetness followed by a pleasant, lingering bitter finish. It suits robust dishes such as grilled red meats, stews and aged cheeses.
