Four Roses – Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 50%)

A single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from grain grown in central Kentucky and aged for at least six years in charred oak barrels. Four Roses is a Kentucky distillery founded in 1888, known for its ten bourbon recipes, which come from five different yeasts. The name is said to come from the founder's four daughters. The whisky is amber in colour. The nose offers dry spice, pear, cocoa, vanilla and maple syrup. The palate is firm, full and mellow, with ripe plum and cherry. The finish is smooth and fine.
