Four Roses Small Batch is a bourbon bottled at 45% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It is drawn from four of the distillery's ten recipes, which come from two mashbills and five yeast strains. The four include both high-rye and low-rye versions.
The nose brings toffee apple, red berry compote and vanilla, with light cinnamon and fresh oak. On the palate there is brown sugar and baked peach, then clove, black pepper and charred oak. The finish is medium to long and dry, with spice, vanilla and a little cherry wood smoke.
