Four Styles The Oaky is a 6-year-old Speyside single malt from Auchroisk, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2012 and belongs to the limited Four Styles series, where this release centres on the influence of oak. The whisky was aged in oak casks chosen to bring structure and depth.
The nose has vanilla pods, fresh-cut oak, toasted almonds and golden syrup. On the palate come caramel, baking spices and creamy toffee, with the oak adding structure. The finish is lingering and drying, with nutmeg, clove and gentle wood tannins.
